Home Port was the perfect budget choice for our group of 5. There are three separate sleeping areas, so we all had a bit of space. The entrance has several shelves, hooks and space for skis. There are several heaters which helped with keeping us warm and drying out our gear more quickly. The included breakfast was a nice bonus, we were provided with bread, jam, eggs, yogurt, milk and some cereal, which was replenished during our stay. The Home Port staff were very accommodating and quick to reply to any communication. We had a vehicle, and used this as our home base for skiing in the area. It's very close to the Niseko Hirafu Resort, and there are a couple of restaurants just down the street. Overall, Home Port had everything we needed and is a great choice for those travelling on a budget! The property has enough beds to sleep 15, although with more than 6 people it would be very tight for space. It was perfect for our group of 5, but if you're travelling with a bigger group keep in mind that the rooms would be quite cramped at max capacity. The kitchen has space for about 2 people to be in there at the same time, and the living room/dining area has seating for 6. We had no problem with a smaller group and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
