I have been coming here pretty much every year for the past 12 years. Although it seems like it's in a decline it's still a great place to bring the kids. You can get very close to some of the smaller monkeys and it's just a great way to spend an afternoon. I'll probably keep coming here until they close it.

It's a nice place to go and see various monkeys. It's usually not crowded at all
This was the first animal attraction I went to in Japan. I saw leaflet boasting the animals had free roam enclosures. But oy some. The spider monkeys, and some other species, were kept in tiny cages about a width of their arms - they had nowhere to swing to. It broke my heart. Steer clear.
Throughly enjoyable experience. Recommend for anyone even remotely interested in primates. Reading up a little beforehand will enhance the experience. The area around the centre also has other attractions for those less interested in JMC.
