Nice walking path in the nature. It’s calming in some sense. Very quiet and not crowded at all. Good little walk in the nature.

Must try the wooden trials Free entrance and free parking The visitors information center speak little English but no Passion in his job You will able to find many related information The wooden trail is very flat but very relaxing Highly recommend
Great place to stop and go for a walk. Lovely visitor center with clean bathrooms and lots of info in English. Well thought out interpretive signs along trail as well (also with some English). Wish we had more time to spend here. Tons of skis and snow shoes in visitor center, perhaps they rent them...
A free admission visitor center, you can learn a lot about the wildlife here and how the landscapes have changed over the millions of years. There are rest areas and bathroom facilities. There are also staff on site but they appear to interact only if you ask them questions. Not sure if they speak English. The visitor center is part of a larger forested area with lots of trails and interesting landscapes.
We've been here in mid-September 2017. From the visitor center start walking along the raised trail. In late summer the view is not that great, but the endless plains are worth a while. Interesting information about the vegetation is loacted along the trail. Nice place but I would't recommend coming all the way just for this one. Try going to the observatories of the marshes as well. Allocate 1-1.5 hours for the trip.
This is a better way of experiencing Kushiro Marshland! Much better amenities as compared to the Kushiro visitor centre down the road.
Beautiful and calm place. Many kinds of animals will welcome you. It’s connected with the observation by 3.5 km path.
Lovely boardwalk out in to the protected marsh lands. Very few people when we went so really peaceful. The flora is really interesting although we didn't see any fauna unless a pile of poo is close enough! There are good exhibit boards every few hundred yards that show pictures of plants, birds and animals that make the marsh their home. Everything is in Japanese and English and very informative. The field house is very good.
