- New, big and main airport of Hokkaido located near Sapporo city -It is not big liky Tokyo or Osaka so your check-in and chek-out process wont take much time -Many bus services are available on a very good frequencies connecting to almost all the places of Sapporo city -Tickets are easily available on Ticket counter or via vending machine as well -You will not get a reserved seat but you should wait on your bus terminal number and they will let you board the bus which has avaialble seats but they have sufficiene space

A great airport. By the way if you are planning in buying souveniers like cheese, chocolate etc, they have EVERYTHING here, and also plenty of great dining options too!

A wonderful airport. I was filled up with joyful and fantastic when I had relaxing time here. NewChitose Airports provides us many kinds of entertainment ways which help us not feel boring when transit here for a long time. I will choose this airport if have a chance to visit Hokkaido again. Thanks Sapporo. A memorable time that I will never forget.

This airport is so much fun. Many different stores, including a drug store, many great restaurants, and gift shops. There are even museums in the airport, Pokemon and Royal’ Chocolate World. Though I did not try, but there is also hot spring in the terminal, unbelievable!
