With the closure of the Ebisu store, I was disappointed that this Otemachi store were missing a lot of the great dishes. For example, the Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee is no longer on the menu. The menu for Otemachi is greatly reduced and was only available in Japanese with no pictures. What happened to all the restaurant menus from Ebisu store that can simply be re-used? The Laksa here is still pretty good along with the Sambal Kangkung. Rest of the dishes we sampled were disappointing, like the Samsui chicken is just well Hainanese chicken served with cabbage instead of rice and the Fried Carrot Cake was simply too wet, had too much egg and not enough raddish. Disappointing to see what was one of the best Singaporean restaurants in Tokyo no longer serving what made them great in the first place.

I tried their Chicken Rice for lunch. It was OK but not outstanding. The meat was tender but lacked the rich fragrance and flavor of the Singaporean original.

Had the "healthy" chicken rice for lunch and it was very good! They have a nice terrace area with a couch for groups.

The combo set in Lunch is good. Depends upon whether you are feeling more ricey or soupy, choose the major and minor ingredients. Spice up your chicken rice with complimentary sauces.

We've recently been to Singapore and Clarke Quay and we're wowed by their warm hospitality and exemplary service. Unfortunately this restaurant sorely lacks both. Maybe it was because we're Europeans but to the staff member(maybe owner) in the tracksuit bottoms and flipflops, we saw you ignore us several times even though we made eye contact with you. Coupled with food that took forever to come out, it's just not good enough. And please do not assume we're tourists, because we are not,. Pity because the food was good.

We ordered char kwaytiau, chicken rice and laksa. All are ordinary. Not outstanding, not bad, just ordinary. But what bugging me alot is the waiter. The waiter is a sullen-faced middle aged plump body ojisan. No smile and not pleasant, bordering to rude. And as I saw other reviews, a lot of them mentioned the rude waiter too. Should have read the reviews before visiting. Ordinary food is totally acceptable for me, not every restaurant is Michelin. But a server with an attitude is a real deal breaker. Hence, 1 star.
