It was good. Ill be honest, the bar itself was really good, but it was actually the atmosphere during the moment which really caught me. What was it? Shhh, thats a secret.

Small space but fresh oysters were breathtaking.

Went there for dinner. A small oyster specialist restaurant operated by 2. Very cosy. Had about 8 types of oyster. I tried 5 and all very delicious. Oysters were opened technically with no shell remaining. Oyster not put under running water made it very tasty. They had a wide collection of wine and beer specially for oyster. Had a very enjoyable dinner. The chef is English speaking and English menu available. BTW, I saw no tourist there. Recommended.

I love this oyster bar which I discovered few years ago in Ginza as it had become the best rated one in this area. Every time I travel to Japan and stay in Tokyo, I make sure I stop by the Kaki oyster bar. The owner (Shoko, i am not sure of the spelling) is a true expert in Japanese oysters and she can tell you a lot about the ones she offers in her bar. She changes her oyster menu every week. Yesterday night my favorites were the Senposhi, Iseshima and Kakiemon ones. I wish I could try to go there once a week. Her classic oyster risotto is to die for. I am leaving for the Kansai area but will be back in Tokyo around the 20th. I can’t wait which ones I will try then. Francois from Paris, France, and Tampa, Florida, USA

This restaurant has poor customer service. The waiter is poorly educated and does not have any manners at all. I do not recommend this place.
