Good for the price. Convenient stand-up place, with automatic ticketing machine. Fast service, good food, large variety of Udon and soba, hot or cold. English menu available. Try the croquet, the vegetables one.

Love this chain of buckwheat noodles in both hot and cold broth. Inexpensive and very close to my hotel, open 24 hours. User friendly for non Japanese. There's a menu posted on the outside glass window with photos, English description of each dish and number. Also English instruction on how to order. Once you walk thru the door there are vending machines with Japanese Only on each number pad. However if you remember your dish number and how much you just insert either the right amount or bigger bill, machine will change for you. Then pick you dish number and voilà, it spits out your ticket which you hand to the cook behind the counter and in minutes your dish is on a tray. No conversation necessary. Standing dining and few stools, facing the walls, Japanese way. I enjoyed the soba, they are al dente and sauce flavorful. Great place for cheap quick bite 24/7. Better than getting same thing from 7-11, Family Mart or Lawson. Look for one near you.

Super friendly staff. Good food for the cheap price. Nice and healthy to stand up while eating food. Good for vegetarians if you eat fish bouillon. If you are hungry and want food fast go there.

No fuss Soba (buckwheat noodles) eatery opens 24 hour. We came here for a quick snack (never have enough of good soba noodles in japan) and we had some expectation seeing that the eatery has over 100 years of history. Unfortunately the noodles were quite disappointing as the noodles were overcooked ish and was not the al dente texture I was looking forward to at all. It was very average and the other chain soba eatery “Fuji soba”, which is in the same price range, is a lot better.

Delicious late night hot soba or udon on a cold night... with no added flavouring. Oh I didn't try but I think you can add more noodles for free.
