Yayoi-ken is a canteen restaurant run by Plenus, one of Japan's leading dining companies. Plenus is the most operated, the largest bento chain in Japan. For this reason, there are many common menus including Kara-age(Japanese fried chicken). The characteristic of Yayoi-ken is that you can eat dishes that are stable and above average anywhere in Japan. There are many Japanese restaurants around the world, but there are many missed restaurants, making it difficult for travelers to identify. Yayoi-ken's popular menue is a kara-age set meal and a salt-boiled mackerel and miso-boiled set meal. The recommended is a Hiyajiru & toriten set meal, which is seasonal. Cold soup, a local dish of Miyazaki, is a cold miso soup, perfect for the hot summer in Japan.

Good teishoku menu. Clean restaurant. I just hate ticket vending machines. They have ebi-fry, my favourite, but only in sets with meat dishes! I just want the ebi. Also you can't order white rice separately. Good thing they have a flavoured rice you order separately. All in all great place for a really cheap meal!
