This place is fabulous and I would really recommend it. We were shown incredible warmth and hospitality right from when we put our name down through to when we were settling the bill and leaving. There is only one thing on the menu which is eel on rice, miso soup and pickles and it's delicious! So savoury and moreish. The lunch comes to 1800 for the set and it's hidden up a side alley, away from the main tourist strip giving it a local vibe.

Amazing place with friendly staff and only serves one item on the menu - anago (sea eel) don. Just get your number, wait in line to get seated, then wait for them to serve you
Fast, simple, and delicious, with extremely friendly staff. I was greeted very kindly and even given a postcard as a gift. Only Anago-don is served that I am aware of, but it was very well prepared. I was a very satisfied customer after a long climb up and down Mt. Misen. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys some good eel.
