We found this place on accident while walking to imperial palace and we are so glad we did!! They specialize in kimonos at a very reasonable price. But they also have other more rare kimonos for a little bit more. This store has so much to look at. My friend bought a very cool kimono with an eagle on it. It was very unique. Go check this place out!

I love this place so much, I was looking for somewhere off of the touristy areas and I found it. They have many vintage kimono of various types, obi and haori, from high-end to affordable - I went to other shops in Kyoto and the quality/price ratio here is the best. You can try them on and they help you choose, with no pressure. Recommended.
I love this place! I was looking for a kimono to bring home (Amsterdam/Barcelona) and did some research online and this lovely store was recommended. I felt immediately when I stepped in I was going to find where I was looking for. There are many beautiful kimonos and I was looking for an affordable silk one (long). I also found a short one which I can even wear to work or a party. They are also selling nice prints and antiques. The vibe is really chilled out and I felt really comfortable by just looking around and trying on the different kimonos. The lady in the store is really kind and I enjoyed talking (English) with her. I think this is still a hidden gem and I feel lucky to have discovered it
What a magical, wonderful place with the most beautiful vintage kimonos. The owner is just as beautiful and so friendly and helpful. Such a special experience and an absolute joy to buy the kimono from Kyoto I've always dreamt of. I left feeling like a Japanese princess.
The owner was soooo helpful and kind. She helped me to find a kimono for me and my girlfriend. Also the shop is very cozy and not like one of those tourist spots. The kimonos and souvenirs are authentic and special. Would highly recommend.
