Just a usual KFC. Nothing out of the ordinary. Chicken seemed a little greasier than usual though, and (this applies to all the times I've had them in Japan, not just this branch) the chicken tenders strips things are just bland, not crisp/crunchy on the outside either. Disappointing really. We went to get a snoopy mug as part of a promotion. The meal options you can choose which includes the mug are reasonable. Not massively more expensive that any of the other meal options AND you get a mug to keep. The mug is random (out of 4 designs). The lady dealing with me at the till was a bit rude (even by Western standards, so this is especially odd for Japan). Not sure what her problem was, but she lacked customer skills. Yes, my Japanese isn't great, but it's adequate for ordering foods. I also witnessed an elderly lady wanting to leave her bags downstairs (there's only seating upstairs, the order counters are downstairs) as they were too heavy for her to carry up/down. The young man dealing with her was about to refuse her ( othing can be left here\ mentality) and was going to be blunt about it. But the lady just left them without really caring [it's Japan, so the chance of theft is pretty low]. Was a rather amusing exchange... This does, however, highlight the lack of customer care and service offered by the staff at this branch.
