Great service - this guy knows his stuff ... I realised my brakes were wearing and needed replacing before hitting the alps ... he changed them on the spot ... he speaks English so that was a plus. Highly recommended

Itoo Bicycles is exactly where you need to go for anything bicycle-related in Downtown Itoigawa. Whether it's for a 'mama-chari' style utility bike to get your groceries or a sexy road bike to blaze along the coast on, Itoo Bicycle either stocks or can order in exactly what you need. It's a family-run store and the owner and his son both really know their bikes and are very patient with people new to cycling. They take good care of their customers and will help you keep your machine in perfect condition. The store is very small, so they tend not to keep a ton of accessories in stock, apart from the most popular things, but if you don't mind waiting a day or two, they are more than happy to order in anything you need. (One time, I merely hinted about wanting a new bottle cage that matched my bike perfectly and the next time I was in they had added a few to their stock just in case I wanted to buy them!) I really cannot recommend this place enough! They also have rental bicycles, including 3 speed utility bikes, 7 speed hybrid bikes, and electric pedal assist bikes. Great if you're just visiting and want to tour the town!
