We were on accompany tour. My husband was icer carpenter shop (1371). It was one of the most memorable place we were stationed. A great place then to raise children. We were there late 80's, camped and all of festivals. History down the road with Hiroshima.

New movie theater is a great example of fraud waste and abuse or funds. Base has so much to offer.... Lets see you can go bowling, the gym, swimming.... Ok ain't much to do. Place looks like a prison.

Compared to Atsugi, Zama, Yokata, Misawa, Sasebo, and Yokosuka this base lacks amenities that benefit those stationed here. They services can be improved, if they spent the money wisely.
