Surprised to hear many bad review about this hotel because I love it. The room and the bed was really comfy with nice view!

A very conveniently located onsen hotel. It is in desperate need of a refresh as the decor looks to have been the same for some decades - at the very least they need to give the place new carpets and a lick of paint. While the onsen was overall good, the experience was somewhat disappointing as the mens' baths on the ground floor did not have a working rotenburo (outdoor bath) nor a cold plunge pool; the other baths on the 6th floor are more pleasant being bigger and more airy, and with access to a small rotenburo (although the bigger one was out of order), but both the sauna and the plunge pool were out of order. One final detail that works against this hotel is the size of the rooms, those with Western style beds are tiny with barely space to put a suitcase. Moving onto the positives, the hotel is conveniently located with good restaurants,izakaya and shops nearby; the hotel has decent amenities, the staff are very warm and friendly, and the beds are comfortable.

数年前9月中旬･･･熊本に旅行に来た際にこちらのホテルに宿泊しました。 建物そのものは古いです。 和室でかなり広く、正直綺麗とは言えませんでした。 ただ食事はステーキ食べ放題で朝食もバイキング形式で美味しかった。 温泉は良かったけど、源泉かけ流しでちょっと熱すぎて長く入れなかったです。
台風の後に素泊まりで宿泊しました。 当初は別予約サイトにて２名予約でしたが・・・変更をお願いして快く受け入れてもらいました。別予約サイトで人数変更が出来なかったため一旦解約してホテルに直接予約を入れてもらいました。対応など折り返しもちゃんとしていました。 コチラは経営が韓国企業に変わったとあって少しネガティブなイメージがありましたが・・・スタッフは日本人で気持ちよく宿泊ができましたよ〜いやな思いをした方もいるようですがそんなことはありませんでした。 宿泊した部屋は広い和室で４人５人で宿泊するようなスペースに一人と開放的！また、窓から見える竹林は素晴らしいものがありました。階数も７階だったのでエレベータエントランスから菊池市内が一望できて気分は爽快です。 温泉は露天風呂と内湯＆サウナなどあります。泉質は良くてお風呂上がりはツルツルしっとりと温泉効果は感じました。台風の影響で露天風呂は使用できませんでしたが露天風呂も良さそうですね。 素泊まりであったためコチラの夕食や朝食はどのような感じかわかりません。 夜は近所の人気な居酒屋さんに食事に行きました。アクセスも便利です。 また来年も機会あれば宿泊したいです。 駐車場も広く使いやすい。
大きいホテル。 だが古い。 値段は安め。 温泉は広くて露天風呂も素敵。 温泉好きの人にはとても良いホテルです。 15時前にチェックインしてから貸切状態でお風呂三昧。 最高。 部屋が古いとのコメントもあるが、綺麗な部屋を所望なら高いホテルに行かないと。 韓国の宿泊者が多いみたいで館内には沢山の韓国語、残念ではありますが彼らのおかげでホテルが維持できて、私も宿泊できます。どこの観光地に行ってもありがたいことです。 一言言うと、大きなホテルを少ないスタッフで維持しているから大変とは思うが、目につかない所や裏側が汚すぎ、リフォームはしなくても良いですがきれいに片付けましょう。
平日に友達４人で楽しみました(*-)。 平日なので格安‼️。 このコスパで料理は良いし＼()／ 大浴場もすごく良くて‥‥ 露天風呂は、もっと よかった()。 おふろは貸し切り？状態。 昭和感たっぷりのカラオケや卓球台で とても楽しみました(*-)。
