We stayed at Powderpeak Echoland for almost 3 weeks. As we had such a long stay we wanted to have a house where we could have some room to move and be able to eat in if we wanted. We had 2 adults and 2 kids but you could easily sleep more. The house is very clean and tidy, plenty of heating, with a ski/board and boot storage and drying area downstairs, and good kitchen with pretty much everything you need to whip up dinner when you don’t want to eat out. The lounge room is great with a big tv that kept the kids entertained after skiing. It’s a short walk to Bear’s cafe and a little longer to Base Camp to catch the shuttle buses to the slopes. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants close by, an easy walk. The owner Greg and his team were very helpful, providing a pick up and drop off service and helped us to get to the bigger grocery store to shop. Definitely recommend for a family if you’d like to be central to everything and don’t mind getting shuttles to the slopes.
