This cabin and parking lot form the beginning of the hike to Mt. Shirouma (Hakuba Dake). I highly recommend this hike, my party of four had a great time doing the day hike from the cabin to the camping cabin at the base of the glacier. The parking lot is free, which is awesome, and it's very clear what to do as you walk past the cabin. The main trail is clearly marked, and after a very short hike in the woods, you join up with a road that you follow upward for about 30 minutes. Along the road you'll see huge dammed waterfalls and cross over at least one creek. It's beautiful. The second portion of the hike begins where the road ends. You'll begin going up along wooden planks and dirt trails. It was very wet when we were there in August, so the boards are helpful. You'll cross over several creeks and pools, and you're deep amongst the woods now. After about an hour of brisk climbing you'll reach the camping cabin and the end of the icefield (known as the Daisekkei) stretching down from upper reaches of the mountains. You can grab a beer and some snacks at the lodge, as well as provision yourself for a summit attempt by renting crampons and other equipment. Many people were pitching tents to camp at the cabin, but there are also beds for rent. We hiked the remaining 10 minutes of so to get up to the Daisekkei itself, which never thaws - hence the name Big Snowy Valley. Very cool to touch the ice and make a snowball while wearing shorts and a T-shirt! This is a beautiful hike, highly recommended.

宿泊しなくても駐車場無料 よっ！太っ腹！ 7月後半日曜朝4時 満車を心配しつつ到着したが、8割の混みで駐車できた 一台毎に地面にロープ囲いがあり、快適に置けた 向かって左側が送迎用駐車場、右側が登山者用駐車場と動線を分けているのも実に良く考えてられていて好感が持てる 有り難く安全に駐車させてもらいました()/
白馬岳、大雪渓の麓 白馬尻に行くのに車で行けるのはここまで、宿泊、食事が出来る山小屋です。写真を撮っただけで利用はしませんでした。朝から白馬岳に登るにはここか、ここから1時間の大雪渓登り口の白馬尻小屋から出発ですね。遠くから車で来て歩き始めの体調を整えるには良いとこです。バスも通っていますが本数が少ないので注意。タクシーも呼べます。白馬駅まで約3700円5人相乗りで1人あたり740円などと看板が出ています。写真もアップしました。駐車場は広いですが、シーズン中は混みそうですね。 白馬尻小屋までは、登山道、林道を通って約1時間です。

下山した時、肉そばをいただいた 時間的に丁度いい コロナ渦なので、大変そうだ
可以租登山仗，也可以租冰爪。如過要爬大雪溪冰川一定要租。走冰川很不錯的體驗。
