Located at the port where the ferries arrive you can find a very good hand dripped coffee and iced latte. Unfortunately, they don’t offer an espresso. Smooth music, bright shop facing the sea and a little shop with souvenirs. Definitely a place to grab a coffee or sit down while waiting at the ferry.

Wow! What a surprise to find such a charming coffee roaster in the second floor of the ferry building! Superb coffee and biscuits, local craft beers and chocolates, a little shop of curated local crafts. You would never find it without a recommendation.

Located on the second floor and facing the sea, issou coffee roasters is a good place for specialty coffee lovers. Their drip coffee and the cafe latte are tasty! Great place while waiting the ferry.

If you hate Starbucks, then you'll live issou. Great place to have a good coffee while waiting for your ferry. The cold brew was smooth and not bitter, as it should be.

It has been a surprise to find this cafe. One of the best coffees we have had in all of Japan and a pleasant conversation about Japanese records with one of the boys who runs the cafeteria.

An unexpected surprise after a long day hiking over the island of Yakushima. We run a coffee shop in Australia (Bussy McBusface) and we have been missing a well poured brew while we have been away. Best coffee we have ever had in Japan. Well worth a stop to recharge at this little gem by the sea.

A small coffee shop serving decent coffee on the second floor of the ferry terminal building. It’s attached to small design shop.

First thing we sorted out when we got to Miyanoura was where to get a decent coffee. Issou delivered in spades! Great espresso using house roasted beans. Really very good. In a great little room at the main ferry station. A bit hard to spot as its on the 2nd floor. Easy once you know where. Could do with a few more nibbles but that’s a quibble...
