It was okay for some knowledge about pearls. But that's it. Not for any scenary.

The museum is very well done with excellent explanations in English about Pearl growing and the personal history of the founder. The only site in Toba that didn't look run down and depressing. The AMA performance was also quite nice.

Well documented history of cultured pearl. Wish they can update the exhibitions, they are sooo 70s.

A must-visit place in Mie Perfecture. Besides the museum about pearls in Japan, you also can see the attraction of the ama lady who dives under water to catch oysters. They are only using traditional gears, and mostly elderly. After that, if you have money, you can buy the pearl and jewelry in its store. They come from other countries as well.
