the gym is clean and provide very much everything you need at training area except that they need to open the window to refresh the room. some front staffs need training of how to deal or talk with customers, I dont know if they aren't social or rude. some staff are pretty nice and hard welcoming.

We tried to train at the CARPE DIEM AOYAMA. before arrival we sendt them a mail telling them that we where coming, since they told us to on their webpage. also asked basic questions about the cost and when we should be there. The answer was basicly: read the webpage. this was in the evening and we where thinking of going the next day. the next day we discoverd that there was some sort of spesial day in japan and therefore sent the gym a new message askin if there was still traning. somthing it wasn't. ok, so we had to prospone the traning one more day. the next day, The schedule on Hiroo gym said no traning, so we went to CARPE DIEM AOYAMA. when we got there they told us that only men where alowed! but on hiroo men and woman could train. This they could't had informed us about before!?!? I had stated on all my messages that it was me and my girlfriend. and one hour also cost 3000Y, Sorry, but no good service and expensive.

Are you new to BJJ and want to meet the friendliest group of guys and girls to help you start your journey? Maybe you are en experienced player and want to find all the holes in your game you never knew existed? Either way- this place is for you. First off - this place is very big - especially for Japan. It has never felt crowded even with 30-40 students on two mats. Secondly - your visitor pass covers you for 3 different locations (one school is closed one day a week) - and there are morning, afternoon and multiple evening classes every weekday, and extensive classes on the weekends as well. This means that if you are the type to train everyday or multiple times a day - its going to cost you about 300-600 yen (3-6 USD) per class!! Third - Out of the three locations, this is the one with all the foreigners - meaning that in one day you will probably roll with someone from Korea, Australia, England, USA, Ghana, and of course many many skilled players from Japan. What more could you ask for. Lastly - the gym is very stylish and friendly - there are showers with soap provided - you can pay extra for laundry service - and they are usually playing some good music during training. Basically one of the best deals for a super world class BJJ gym you are going to find anywhere - hands down!
