Im writing this review over a year after dining here- partly because of how good and memorable our meal was here, and partly after just having a terrible meal at a japanese restaurant back at home. After a tiring day exploring nara, we wrapped the day off with the famous Mochi nearby, then looked for dinner. It was the restaurant's sign for Sapporo beer that caught my eye, and walking in, we felt right at home with the sole chef's greeting and hand-drawn menus. We had two udon sets and a beer each to go with it. The broth tasted homemade, and the noodles and rice were cooked just right. Very good food that's worth the wait, with an amazing ambience. We'll certainly be back, this place is one of the hidden gems of Nara!

商店街から少し奥まった所にあるカウンター席のみの小さなお店です。店の雰囲気と違って、マスターは割烹の料理人のような感じです。オススメのかき揚げ丼は、注文してからあげるので、サクサクのエビたっぷりで絶品です。すじこん丼は、丁寧に下ごしらえされたすじと赤味噌の相性が抜群です。セットメニューに添えられてるお吸い物が、しっかりと出汁が利いてて美味しいので、次回は、その出汁を生かしてると思われるうどんも試したいと思います。店内が狭いので、男女別のトイレが店の前にあります。
在飯餅殿商店街內，一開始不太好找。親切的老闆獨自經營的小店，牆上貼滿手繪手寫的菜單很可愛溫馨。燉牛肉/牛筋飯(すじこん丼)很好吃(不過裡面也有很多蒟蒻條喔)，到訪時有另個熟客邊喝酒邊跟老闆聊天，瞬間有種闖入日劇社區小食堂/居酒屋的錯覺。
店内の雰囲気がとても良かったです。 店員さんの接客も良く、落ち着いて食事ができまきた。うどんがおすすめらしいので、うどんをいただきましたが、タジが効いていて美味でした。
小さいお店ですが、なかなか美味しかったです。かき揚げがしっかり揚げてあるので、卵とじにしても崩れずカリカリ感が味わえます。量はそんなに多くないな、と最初は思いましたが、食べ終えて見れば結構満腹感ありました。うどんランチを注文している人が多かったかな。食後の黒ごまアイスも美味しそうでしたが、次回に取っておきます。
