Good place to see autumn colors. We arrived a bit after peak colors, mid-October, but still managed to see some of the bright oranges and reds. The rooftop observation deck was a a nice place to chill and sightsee.

This is the station connected a cable car to a rope way. On the top of the building provides an observation desk with the stunning view of Japan alps Inside the building has many shops to buy some souvenirs.

The last stop on the touristic Kurobe railway line. Great views of the Kurobe gorge, 人食い岩man eating cave. It is also a nice place for hiking and watching wild life. I saw several bird species and snakes, but were not lucky enough to see monkeys or bears. There is an Onsen and a free foot hot bath by the side of the river, which was quite enjoyable.
The short gondala ride has 360 degrees of spectacular views, unless you have a return ticket, it's hard to take in all at once
