Lovely Ryokan traditional Ryokan with old school charm. There are two mixed baths (with some single sex times), two single sex baths and a private bath. The mixed baths are beautiful and have multiple areas so they offer quite a lot of privacy if you’re not completely comfortable! Really lovely helpful staff (including one lady who spoke excellent English). Highly recommend this place. Great skiing nearby too!

I have been last year , staff was really nice , the room was cute with mountain view and onsens and dinner were fantastics . One of my best souvenir I hope to go again
Wonderful ryokan. Great location and family owned. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend as this is second time visiting the ryokan.

ELEGANT! Gorokaku Ryokan in Oigami Onsen, Namata, Gunma, is an elegant Ryokan with a modest-sized garden Konyoku rotenburo (mixed gender open-air bath) that is tastefully put together. The shaded rotenburo is divided into two halves, and has an outside view of the surrounding area. The inner half is hotter than the outer. There is a small changing area for ladies that leads into the rotenburo. For the gents there is an open changing area and baskets to store your clothes. If you need to wash up, you can go to the segregated public indoor bath. Visiting hours for day trippers is between 1200 to 1500 hours at 1000 per person for a 2-hour soak (this is not strictly enforced). If you need small bath towels, it will be at 100 per towel. A quiet rotenburo with a nice Zen-like experience.
お手軽な料金で良質の温泉が楽しめました。建物は古いですが清潔感があり滞在には全く問題はなく、接客やサービスも過剰ではなく私には心地よかったです。 二つある大きな露天風呂も適切管理されていて設定温度もちょうどよかったです。
山間にある旅館です。 直ぐ隣が、観光案内所があり、朝市の会場でした。 朝市は、6:00からで、自慢の手作り品が並び、皆さんとても優しい方々で、その人柄にお土産を沢山購入してました 山車としての長さギネス記録の蛇神様が、展示してあり、 その長さにビックリです。 部屋からの山が紅葉して、とても綺麗な眺めでした。 宿は、畳敷きになっていて、スリッパがなく、お家にいるようなリラックスできました。 食事は、部屋食で、朝夕、ボリューム満点で美味しいお食事でした。 お風呂は、混浴露天風呂が２つ(時間帯で専用時間あり、湯の着あり200) 男女別に内風呂があり、１つは、小さいですが、露天風呂あり 別料金にて貸切露天風呂もあり 露天風呂へは、急な長い階段を下ります。 お風呂上がりは、お肌ツルツルでした。 古い建物ですが、客室は、きれいで窓から見える景色は、最高です。(部屋3階、４階まであり) コロナ対策もしっかりされていました。 従業員の方は、たいへん親しみやすく、丁寧です。 リピーターが多いのも、わかります。
