蚕影山神社を起源とする養蚕の神です。 西暦1860年（安政7年）に越後の国の石工によって作られ、白沢町平出地区にある社殿内に安置されました。 社殿内は非公開で、元旦と4月の第1日曜、10月1日のみ公開されます。
