Came here with a friend on NYE and had an awesome time! Guys running the place are super friendly and food is incredible. Had there special 1 pound steak and was extremely impressed with how amazing it tasted. If you're looking for a small cozy and super friendly place with great atmosphere, drinks and food in Kagoshima this is the place to be!
Great find! Tiny place but that makes it nice. Everyone sits close and enjoys each other's company. The owner (Yoshiomi) is VERY friendly and makes you feel welcomed. He speaks good English and makes a point to remember your name. His staff is EXCELLENT pouring great drinks and having fun. The patrons, both locals and foreigners, were all VERY kind. Lots of shots and cheers. Good bourbon whiskey selection. Watched them use fresh ingredients in cocktails. Food that was served looked tasty. Music selection was great. Prices were very fair. I accidentally overpaid my bill and the owner honestly corrected the situation. I will definitely be back...O MO TE NA SHI!!!

Amazing place. Stopped in for dinner and a drink or two and ending up staying all night. Both the bar staff and the patrons are incredibly friendly. Not as English friendly as other places but with communication, if there’s a will there’s a way. Will definitely be stopping in on any future trips to Kagoshima.
This bar is wonderful. It's a tight space, but everyone is really friendly. One of the bartenders, Peter, speaks English well, and will suggest other places, if you're traveling somewhere he knows. If you're looking for somewhere that can make you feel like you're one of the regulars, then check this place out. Things to note: smoking is allowed in the bar. If Peter is not there, keep in mind, the other bartenders may not know English. I'm not a big drinker, so I cannot comment on the prices or the drinks. I can say, they will try to make a drink they don't know, if you tell them how to make it. Also, they have Coca-Cola
Incredible find, lovely staff, food was awesome. As per every other review, this place is essential if you’re in Kagoshima!
Hands down the best night my friends and I had in Japan. It's a small place but because of its size and very hospitable English speaking staff we had no trouble chatting with locals and sampling various awesome drinks Shinmachi-san and his great sidekick fired up for us. 10/10 would visit Kagoshima just to visit here again.
