Had cheeseburger with avocado topping, 1550 yen incl fries and drink. Burger was good, not the best, but decent and big. Liked the homemade pickles and pickled salad, both pretty tasty. A few small complaints would be the bun was a little too small and over-toasted for my liking, and since the patty was quite thick it could have been seasoned better to elevate it from just a thick slab of ground beef. Wedge fries were good but I also personally prefer standard cut. Also took about 20 min for my burger to arrive and it wasn't that busy, so don't go there if you're on limited time. Decent overall, 3/5 stars. *EDIT: 2nd visit -- Anyone claiming this to be the \best burger in Tokyo\ has led a sheltered life. It's not even the best in Sangenjaya (Clap Hands is, IMO). Had to try it again just based on the amount of good reviews this place has, but my original review still stands. 3/5. Ridiculously slow service. The burger is just OK, and very big, but nothing to rave about.

Great burger place, highly recommended. Like any place in Japan It’s a small dining area. Immediately a good sign is the number of kitchen staff, upon reflection 4 i counted maybe more. Plus the constant T/A orders going out the door. The retro 60'/70's look wasn't overly done and only necessary furniture and fittings was applied. We ordered onion rings to share first, this was a good idea as the burgers took a bit of time to get to us. The onion rings were lightly battered and fried to perfection. Served with 7 spice pepper and homemade tomato ketchup. I ordered the egg, bacon burger. The fried wedges i believe were par boiled and possibly fried twice with light flour to aid the crispness. The burger it self had a thick slices (yes more than one but 4 slices), you could bite into and not pull and rubbery. Proper bacon. The beef pattie was soft and crispy on the outside. I noticed the chef flame torched the patties to get the crispness. The mayo was also good - homemade. The bun was like a brioche bun. Finally, I drank it done with a Dr Pepper.

I read that this is the best place to eat burgers or sandwiches in Tokyo and it’s so true! But I advise you: they’re huge! I couldn’t finish this sandwich alone (and it’s only half of it!) Anyway, it was amazing and so tasty. The place isn’t big so expect long lines during the peak times.

The wait is long but the burger is SO worth it!! Wedge potato & super crunchy. I had the bacon cheese burger, the burger is Huge & the bacon is Thick!! Even the buns are lightly fried. And I think they might make their own ketchup. It’s up there with my best burgers for sure.

One of the best hamburger I had in Tokyo. I got a bacon cheese burger. You can choose between 4 types of cheese. The bacon is really crunchy and the overall size is very satisfying. The interiors reminds America in the 60s. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommend!
