Cute atmosphere and savory spices. The price to portion ratio might put some off but if you need something a little off the beaten path, give it a try.

Wai Wai Wai Sik

Delicious! The consistency is closer to regular curry so don't expect the typical soup curry which has more liquid. The curry sauce is a rich blend of spices, neither Japanese or Indian. We had the butter chicken, spicy chicken and lamb curries. My fave is lamb, followed by butter chicken. Some mouthfuls even tasted kind Malay or Indonesian. Veggies are deep fried with a little garlic, creating a crispy texture on the broccoli. The chilli is not that intense, so chilli lovers can order the hottest. The restaurant is well decorated, very comfy and hip.

Delicious food, nice environment, and surprisingly well-stocked bathroom (mouth wash, floss, toothbrush, nail clippers, etc.). Note that even their most spicy option is probably equivalent to a mild dish for those accustomed to Indian and Chinese food.

Fantastic curry. Alot of ingredients and curry is thick with alot layers and textures. This is a wonderful find in shimokita! One of the best curry shop here. Recommended for a wonderfully curry experience. U can even select your level of spiciness. I took normal spicy and it's pretty awesome.

Ordered the lamb curry. The presentation was beautiful. The lamb was really tender and very well seasoned. The flavor was on point overall and with multiple components in the curry including potatoes, pickled onions, crispy onions, bell peppers etc, everything seemed to work very well with each other. There addition of cashew nuts on top provided a nice texture to every bite.
