I went to the Honolulu location, and had a mediocre experience. The Tokyo location was more disappointing. The staff is great. Really friendly and helpful. The food however is unimpressive and entirely over-priced. I knew that going in but it didn't really sink in until the server brought me the half bowl (less than 50g) of basmati rice for 300円. My tablemates asked if someone forgot to add in the other portion of rice. Anyway, we went on weekend evening, didn't need a res. Everyone was socially distanced. There were dividers and temperature checks. I was excited for Vietnamese food. I had the pho and chicken wings in Honolulu so I wanted to try other things. The softshell crab spring roll was good, but to pricey to order again. I appreciate that they left the cilantro as a garnish and not inside. The ahi toast was nice, I would order that again. The toast was too thin and mealy, however. Something a little thicker with more gluten might carry the avocado topping better and not get as soggy so quickly. I ordered the pork chop, my friends the salmon and banh mi. The restaurant gets extra credit from my friends for having and allergy menu, but it turns out everything, even the chicken, is prepared with shrimp. My pork chop was 50% fat, 25% meet, 25% bone. That was utterly heartbreaking. I was really hungry. The pork chop was served on top of gazpacho, raw green tomatoes, stewed red tomatoes, and burrata. Individually, they were all ok, except the fat chop, but together they didn't fit. There was also some charred leafy veg. I understand now why there aren't any pictures of this on the review page. The salmon was good. The banh mi was unexpectedly spicy. I don't have any interest in returning.

Fresh tasty Vietnamese food, really well designed dishes. Desserts are particularly delicious! Also get the Vietnamese coffee.

A very tasty modern take on Vietnamese food. The large option lunch set included a soft shell crab salad roll, fried chicken appetizer, French dip sandwich and a Pho bowl, finished with dessert. Great variety and everything was well done. Clean and spacious restaurant too

Cool ambience and vibe is a plus. It’s already Xmas on September here which is cool. Food was great overall, but won’t necessarily call the pho authentic. The price is way overpriced and quantity is very little so minus 2 stars. I was shocked on how little the servings for the Burmese green tea salad was, but I guess that’s japan size.

Delicious fusion of Vietnamese and Hawaiian taste. The food is super tasty, fresh ingredients. Rich soup in the pho. Sandwich Bahn Mi are crispy outside and rich and sweet inside. Mmmmmm. I remove one star because it’s a bit expensive (1500 per person before drink), but overall one of my favorite places in Tokyo for a nice lunch.

This place is fantastically delicious, from their sides and drinks to their soups and mains. my favorite dish is their Pho French Dip, which sadly isn't always in the menu. It's tender and oozing with sauce, and then served with a side of pho broth for dipping. Even the little pickles they serve on the side are yummy. However, the portions are quite small for the price, and it's easy to rack up quite a bill after side dishes and drinks.

Great food, located right next to Ebisu station. Vietnamese/Hawaiian theme is interesting.

The famous Vietnamese restaurant from Hawaii is now open in Tokyo, Japan. Located very close to the Ebisu station for a few minutes of walk. The restaurant keeps almost the same decoration in Hawaii and its menu almost similar as well. The menu is also written in English but the staff doesn’t speak at all English. The menu is quite confusing which I think there is a big room for improvement to do on the menu. The service was a bit slow and they have missed one order. Reservation accepted by phone and for a big group is possible. The food quality is good with a bit of a twist to fit with Japanese taste. The restaurant is already known to be quite high priced if you compare it with authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
