Although it's a small museum, they have an amazing amount of block prints they rotate through. This includes many unique pieces in a variety of styles and artists. Well worth the price if you are a fan of Ukiyo-e!

I'm usually not a fan of museums but this was very good. A very relaxed, quiet and casual atmosphere to observe and read about the interesting artworks. I really enjoyed this. Not everything is translated to English though which is should be corrected.

Wonderful museum of Ukiyo-e, the Japanese art of woodblock printing. Beautifully presented and with good explanations in English it provides fascinating insights into a quintessential Japanese art form which influenced many western painters and comic book artists.

Very cool to see the art in a dark, cool, and quiet setting. About half of the explanatory plaques have English translation, but you still get a good idea of the history in the scenes. You must lean very close to the woodblock prints to see the smallest details and if the museum has many visitors you will have to wait on the people ahead of you to finish looking closely. Kind and helpful staff.
