The owners are super nice and friendly, made my stay very enjoyable. It feels like a home and the rooms are clean. The Japanese room and bedding is comfortable and I slept very well throughout the stay. I love the onsen within the hotel, very relaxing and convenient, however, the onsen is not an outdoor onsen. The hotel is not new but for the price, it is very reasonable. The hotel is central located and is a walking distance to all the public onsens in the area. The town don't have much dining options, you have to walk 20mins to the train station for restaurants and convenient stores.
Akira and Yumi are exceptional hosts. They made us feel welcome and comfortable in every respect.

Wonderful japanese dinner and morning! You can eat vege, fish, fruit all grown in Nagano. Okami-san(host) was very very nice and kind.
