Taco rice in Shinjuku! It's not the same preparation as what I had in Okinawa but it was good and with flavor. The serving was small and I ordered a second plate. The staff was friendly and only speaks Japanese. Glad to have found this spot while exploring the town. The dry curry was also pleasantly tasteful if you have been wanting to try it.

I'm Haitian, and stopped by cafe Haiti while vacationing in Japan. I picked what looked like diri blan and legume, but it tasted more like Japanese curry with white rice. I enjoyed the meal but it tasted more Japanese than Haitian for sure. An interesting experience nevertheless. I wonder where the inspiration came from lol?

Rice based dishes. Priced around 980 to 1100 yen for a lunch set which consists of main meal and a drink. Ambience is ok except for the heavy smoky smell. Food is average- their dry curry may be the best of lot. Other dishes are also curry rice/ rice based. Ice coffee was below average

Free access to view the city, most other places you probably have to pay 20. There's a small cafe serving lunch and tea at the top. On the 2nd floor where you exit they have a small room where different prefectures showcase items they're known for.

Lots of restaurants in the building. The pasta and curry place on the second floor are amazing.
