The station is always crowded with students and office workers. Come on a Friday night then you'll see a lot of drunk college kids from a nearby university vomiting around. There are several good restaurants around so be sure to try them out!

I got on and off this station while commuting to the Japanese Language School. Very convenient with Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Yamanote Line and Seibu-Shinjuku line (it covers Tokyo, Saitama and Chiba prefectures). Lots of vending machines, NewDays konbini and lots of shops, shotengai and konbini outside, also there's the Takadanobaba Big Box, a great place for shopping. It's a student area with lots of Japanese Language Schools and near Waseda University, so there's a lot of students, both foreign and japanese nationals. Great station, great environment and a great place to go everyday.
