A great place to have sushi a bit outside the crowd of the main streets. The price is extremely competitive in the area, especially during lunch with great set deals. The fish is very fresh, sometimes even straight out of the tank. The atmosphere is very hospitable and the service is beyond reproach. All in all, highly recommended.

Delicious and a comfortable atmosphere
We looked all over for a good sushi place that also took discover card. The menu is available in English, and all the sushi and sashimi we had was fresh and amazing. Great service too!
Sushiwaka has many sushi to order from. Me and my partner ordered one set of the daily sushi set of 10 pieces as well as a miso soup with clams. The sushi are fresh and the wasabi is put on the side. Great for foreigners who are not accustomed to wasabi. The service was also excellent.
Sushi was very fresh. Somehow it doesn't have the slightest fishy taste (either that the fish quality or the owner's skill was very good). We can really taste the fish's original flavour. Been in tokyo Prefecture for two weeks and we find a lot of the food, though fresh but their original taste was on the lacking side strangely (like they were being diluted with water, not literally but just an expression).
