Opened in 1991, SAGEMONOYA is still the only gallery in Japan specialized in antique Netsuke and Sagemono (Inro, Ojime, Kiseruzutsu, Bokuto, Tonkotsu, etc).. From the early stage, we have been helping and advising many Netsuke collectors, both in and outside Japan, on how to build or improve their collection. We acquire from collectors or help them to sell their Netsuke when their taste changes. We have also supplied to various museums in Japan and abroad, and helped organise specific Netsuke exhibitions. We publish catalogues almost every year and participates to various antique shows in worldwide.
