Most stylish hot spring ryokan in the Kawaba area with an extensive antiques collection and relaxing outdoor courtyard. If I remember correctly, non-staying guests can use the hot springs until 8 PM. Cost us about 800 yen per person with a coupon. Highly recommended.
Great Japanese ryokan with historical decorations. Automatic cart and monorail is surprising.
A traditional decorated ryokan with Individual thatched roof houses along the main street in the front. It would be more interesting to stay in these kinds of houses with futon and hearth (irori) than the newer accommodation up the hill equipped with beds. Although it seems to me not a necessity to have those automated golf cart like vehicle to bring guests to the door step since the walking distance would be about 15min to the very far, some might find it useful perhaps after a few drinks in the restaurant. If a stay is a bit pricey for you or if you are there for a day trip, try the lunch set starting from 3,000 JPY including the use of onsen bath.
静かな時が流れるようなとても落ち着いた雰囲気がある旅館 日帰り温泉で利用しましたが、是非宿泊したい施設です。 費用は日帰り1,200円なので日帰り温泉としては高めですが、贅沢なひとときを過ごせるので自身へのご褒美にという方におすすめです。 中庭で温泉上がりの一杯が最高でした。 店員さんの対応もとても丁寧で、是非また行きたいと思う一件です。
とても満足できる温泉宿です。 別館に宿泊したのですが、電動カートとモノレールでの移動はアトラクションの様ですが、お年寄りには便利な物だと思いました。 温泉も食事も最高です。季節毎にまた行きたいと思ってます お庭に神社もありました
部屋や建物はすごく良い感じでした。料理も美味しいし接客も良かったです。ただ。。部屋の露天風呂が温泉では無く普通のお湯。。。えええっ！？ちなみに大浴場もまあ〜まあ〜な感じ。モノレールとか無人カートとかよりお風呂をもう良くした方が。。。（）
