My three year old loves this place. I bring him when I need eggs because he asks to go to the “minion zoo” all of the time. I feel like I should to check on the animals. The donkeys have long hooves and are losing fur, and the beautiful pony needs a salt lick and a good brushing. She kept licking our arms and at first I thought she was just funny. Then I realized she was trying to get sodium! I’m about to order a salt kick and brush. She’s so beautiful and sweet. The owner may be doing the best he can, but maybe charge a small fee to better upkeep your animals. Or open it up for volunteers to walk and care for the bigger animals. Still overall a fun place to go.

This place sells eggs in bulk or smaller and yes the proceeds to help with the upkeep of all the rescued animals. We saw monkeys, rabbits, an emu, parrots, an owl, donkeys, peacocks, a pony, wild boars, snakes, lizards, and other birds while there. It is free to view the animals and they also sell delicious scones, roll cakes, cakes, cheesecake, ice cream cones, and other pastries in addition to the fresh eggs. Fun little shopping jaunt and if you recycle the egg cartons, they give you yen back towards your next purchase.

Located in the middle of Naha and major attractions like Cape Manzamo and Cape Zanpa, it’s a nice place to stop by as a mid-way stop of your trip. There are some interesting animals that you don’t see anywhere else in Okinawa and you can get pretty close to them to take a good look. You can touch them though. Just don’t expect many of them in terms of number. A fun place to visit especially if you bring your kids.

Small zoo with limited variety of animals, but it's free and the attached sweets shop had delicious food for a good price. (Try the raw chocolate cubes.)
