Great choice if you're looking for Vallejo paints. Also has a variety of high-quality miniatures that are otherwise hard to find.

Very nice place. They have heaps of nice and weird things. Some are very pricey and some are resonable.

So many cool action figures in this shop! Fantastic for anime fans. Especially good for finding Dragon Ball characters in figurines. Good prices for quality items!

Wanted to buy a figurine but had only coins left due to change accumulation from restaurants and convenient store. The cashier refused to sell it then started arguing with me because he wanted bills not coins, like what? At the end he gave up and sold the item. Weird way of treating customers.

For those looking for the Volks Hobby Store (plastic model kits), it is in the 8th floor of the next building with the yellow signage (the one with the escalators in the middle of the building). The Volks Hobby Store has a great selection of plastic model kits. Prices here are usually cheaper than overseas for Japanese brands (Tamiya, Aoshima, Hasegawa, Fujimi, etc) but I wouldn't buy American/European brands here. Check out the nearby Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara before commiting to a purchase since that place has tax-free shopping (5000 yen perchases exempts you from the Japanese 8% purchase tax) but the selection in Yodobashi is somewhat hit-or-miss. Also price compare with the Yellow Submarine shop 2 floors down before buying (the prices are mostly the same but Yellow Submarine includes tax on the price tag) There is also some impressive scale models on display but watch out for no-photography signs to not get scolded by the staff lol (they are very polite/not very forceful about it though).
