Very beautiful and unique building It is 10 minutes from the Hakodate mountain ropeway. Built in 1916, is known as a representation of western-style buildings in Hakodate It once burned down in a fire in 1907 and was rebuilt in 1916 The Hakodate Orthodox Church is one of the city's most famous historical buildings and it was the first Russian Orthodox church to be built in Japan It was the fifth bell to be chosen for the best sound in Japan. It rings about three to five times every Saturday from 5:00 pm and every Sunday's morning during the prayer

Beautiful and peaceful place. When you got spare time in Hakodate, you can stroll around there.
Very beautiful and peaceful place. I enjoyed walking around the church.
Didnt get a chance to go in but the architecture of the church is large and distinctive. Not far from motomachi park mt hakodate ropeway and the red brick warehouses.
Not a big fan of churches.. So was not impressed but the surrounding area is tranquil and green... Still worth a visit if u have nowhere to go
