Hi, Koenji has a good selection of curry shops, all showcasing the uniqueness of the owners that run them. This curry shop offers a pretty funky decor and a few tables. Staff were friendly and attentive. They only serve one curry based on availability of ingredients. It was a vindaloo and I got the extra topping of chicken. It was okay, not spicy at all. Japanese style portions. I can see how Japanese people would like the curry here but it's just too bland for me. Sorry. I have to give it two but that's just my personal taste, and judging from the other ratings I'm wrong on this one. Went home straight after and ate a big bag of pizza flavoured potato chips which says something for craving some taste.

高円寺に来るとついついここのカレーが食べたくなってしまう。普通のカレーとは少し違うのかもしれませんが、とにかく体に良さげ、数種類の具材で飽きないお味。辛さは全然ありません。パラパラのタイ米が好みです。 今回は痺れるチャイも頼んでみましたが、けっこうパンチ効いていましたので、お砂糖をいただいて入れたところマイルドで飲みやすくなりました。 お店が狭いので待つことが多いのが難点ですが、また高円寺に行く際には食べに行きたいと思います。
