I stayed 3days with my family in the Tarou’s house. Thanks to very kind host Yoshihiro, I made an unforgettable memory in Tarou’s house. It's cozy, traditonal and very comfortable. The hot springs near the airbnb are clean and beautiful. We enjoyed eating many japanese foods because there were many fresh and delicious foods in the mart in front of the airbnb house. You must visit to the mart! There’s so nice. I really want to stay for a long time next time.

We had a wonderful time staying in Tarou's House. Yoshi is an exceptionally considerare and attentive host who went well above and beyond our expectations, offering local tips, cultural information and a guided tour. The house itself is spotless, with intelligently positioned shades around it to keep the interior airy and cool and it is well fitted with an elegant fusion of traditonal japanese furnishings and western comforts. On a bright afternoon, with sunlight streaming in through the french windows from the garden, the house is a delightful place to sit and read, play a game or contemplate life. The kitchen was also much easier to cook in (big, plenty of kit) than most of the kitchens we encountered in Japan. Munakata is not a big metropolis, but Tarou's house is right next to the train station which runs regular services to two local cities (Fukuoka and Kitakyushu), wonderful Yoshi has bicycles that can be borrowed, and there is a free shuttle bus to the local Onsen (hot spring baths). We were traveling without a car and had no problems getting around. If you are travelling to the south of Japan, I recommend staying at Tarou's house. You won't regret it.
This accommodation is fantastic for travellers who would like to experience staying in a traditional Japanese house with the practicality and convenience of a modern one. The house is conveniently located near a train station, a supermarket, some cafés, restaurants and salons. At the same time, it is in a quiet and laidback neighbourhood so anyone can rest and have some good sleep. The host and his mom are accommodating and knowledgeable. They can recommend not only popular tourists spots but also local favourites. There are rental bikes and kimonos for those interested.

가족과 4박5일 여행중 마지막 2박을 여기서 묵었다. 시내 중심부에서 벗어나 일본의 전원 생활? 을 체험할 수 있는 장소. 온수도 잘 나오고 정말 생활하는 느낌의 집이다. 아기자기하고 예쁨! 근처 야마츠바사 온천도 좋다. 호스트의 배려덕에 짐도 맡기고 다녀올 수 있었다. 다만 방은 히터를 사용하고 복도는 석유난로를 사용하는데, 오일 냄새를 싫어한다면 끄는 것이 낫다. 우리도 호스트에게 부탁하고 끄고 지냄. 호스트는 옆집에 사는데 첫날 숙소 안내로 한 번, 둘째날 숙소의 2층에 있는 창고를 써도 되냐며 한 번 더 방문했다. 호스트가 신경 써주는 것이 많은 만큼 마주칠 수 있음! 호스트와 마주치지 않는 자유로운 숙소를 원한다면 도심의 아파트형 숙소가 좋겠다.
