廣永窯は、故川喜田半泥子が、弟子養成のために自邸津市千歳山の登り窯を、昭和二十一年現在の長谷山山麓にある閑林池畔に移したことに始まるらしいです。現在窯としては、登窯二流れをはじめ五種八基を設置しており、製作は各種陶磁器の技法一般にわたり、主として古法による茶陶陶器と、好尚懐石道具をつくっているらしいです。以上
