It's a great place to pick up some customized chopsticks as sovenuirs. Only problem is they have too many selection and it's quite a headache to pick one that you like, and for your loved ones. My tip is to go easy, pick the design and just buy. Don't think too much. Another tip is pick 21cm for female and 24/24.5cm for man. Usually the folks at the counter take about 30-45 Mon to customize the name for you. Max letters I believe is 6.

This shop is perfect! It specializes in chopsticks so you can find many beautiful chopsticks here. A great surprise is that it also has various types of cutlery, including beautiful hand-painted cups with very affordable price (many are less than 1000 yen). The service is also great. Upon request, the clerks carefully wrap your cups so that it won't break on your way home. If you pay 200 yen more, they will put it in a box for you. Also, with 400 yen, you can get your boxed chopsticks wrapped in Japanese style (with colorful clothes)!
Cute like shop to buy classic Japanese kitchen wares and utensils. Such as custom name printed chopsticks. Good for making personalized traditional Japanese souvenirs. As a side note, this part of Kawagoe is very old and historic, as such it is often featured on Japanese travel shows and is known to people all over Japan.
There are so many chopsticks to choose from and they will engrave a name or a message on the sticks with no additional cost. Perhaps a bit pricier than what you might find elsewhere but the choices and engraving makes this shop very special.
