The lower cable car station is a 15 min walk from Takaramachi tram stop, but the road bewteen Uragami River and the cable car station is unlit at night, so be careful. From the bus stop / main road, I had to walk up a slope and through a shrine compound before I reached the cable car station. The cable car runs every 15 or 20 minutes, so it can be crowded during peak hours. (For my uphill ride, it was so packed that I was unable to see the views.) My hotel gave me a Nagasaki discount card so my cable car fee only costed half of the full fare. While waiting for the next cable car, I passed the time by visiting the washroom, browsing through the gift shop, and taking a peep at the Japanese shrine next door.

Amazing views, polite staff well worth a visit. Ropeway is every 20 mins until 6pm then it is more frequent. Restaurant at the top!
Ropeway to viewing platform on Inasayama. The immaculate gondola was designed by Ken Okuyama of Ferrari Enzo fame and provides a great view of the city on the way up or down.

ロープウェイに乗るためにナビはここに合わせました。淵神社の前に専用の駐車場があります。ロープウェイのチケットは、ホームページにも割引きが載せてありますがJTBの電子チケットがお得でしたよ。すごくきれいに整備もされていて楽しめました
