We had the most incredible experience with Sandy and Shin from Hokkaido Backcountry Club last Friday! In the morning the visibility wasn't great so we did some backcountry skiing, which turned out to be in the most beautiful area with knee deep perfect powder snow. Come midday the visibility cleared up and the team was quick to get us back to the helicopter and we ended up doing 2 runs, and got refunded the ones we couldn't do in the morning. Very professional and safe experience and I can't recommend them highly enough!

Hands down the best snowboarding experience of my life. The snow was incredible and the guides (Yoshi and Sandy) could not have made our group feel more safe. I don't think you've really experienced waste deep untracked powder until you do this. If you've ever thought about heli skiing, let me tell you it is well worth the money. I will come back every year for the rest of my life.

Absolutely top notch experience - highly recommend!! We did the Chinsenpurri cat skiing with HBC and it was the highlight of our trip to Niseko. Endless fresh lines, amazing and informative guides, and smiles all around! I am so glad we opted to pay for this tour. Next time we are in Japan, I will look into a multi day trip with HBC.
Clayton and crew at Hokkaido Backcountry Club were amazing, one of the BEST ski trips I've been on, snow was legendary, resort days we're amazing being directed to all the great fall line runs and stashes, Shimamaki cat-skiing was surreal and the food at the Onsen/hotel was soooo amazing!! The last day day; heli-boarding topped it off like nothing I could have dreamed of. Over two meters of fresh snow over five days and then three days of blue bird. It's going to be hard for any future trip to live up to this. Thanks!!!!
