Spacious lake house in the beautiful and peaceful lake shore. Perfect place for summer getaway if you want some relaxation. Not to mention the clean and cozy room , the owner couple were very nice and helpful to give us information about local attractions and restaurants. Morning air coming into the room is so much refreshing. Walking on about 2km long trail located along the lake is enjoyable. Breakfast served was healthy diet made with all fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed egg open sandwich and famous Hokkaido melon that was in the season. Definitely hope to visit again.

The best property on Lake Toya. This is the place you need to stay if you're in Toyako. The hosts Jonny and Ayuko are incredibly hospitable and kind. There is every lake activity available (SUP, kayaking, canoeing, etc) all for half prices vs Niseko. Rooms are spacious and have nice showers. Will be coming back again!

Had a great time at the Lakehouse, where we stayed in the magnificent and high-ceilinged Sakura Room. The owners and staff treated us like old friends and did everything they could to welcome us and make sure that we were as comfortable as possible. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent and wholesome. We also enjoyed range of lake activities available right next door, especially napping on the floating dock.

Amazing house with a rich history. Built by the person who owned the Lake Toya resort with Hokkaido Banks money. Left untouched since Japan's economic bubble bursted. Great for a huge family. Lots of acreage for big toys like snowmobiles.
