It is very crowded even with the corona virus. The secret of popularity is that you can eat fresh oysters and scallops on the spot! was delicious. There is a microwave, but there is not enough seasoning, so it is recommended to buy it at a nearby supermarket.

This is a very interesting seafood center to visit. You can buy the seafood you want and then clean and cook them yourself at the center if you are adventurous enough! There is a corner where you can find all the utensils you need including microwave ovens. Quite a new experience for me. I enjoyed myself very much at this place. The live oysters are very fresh, good size and very cheap too compared to other places.

Local fresh oysters can be bought here! You either can take it home, or they give you a knife to open and eat at the tables that are set up. If you prefer it steamed, there is a microwave available, and it makes it a lot easier to open the shell after microwaving for 3-4 minutes!! Oysters are 100-150 yen/piece... which means in Niseko the same ones are about 5 times the price.

Akkeshi oyster is totally great. You can taste the famous Akkeshi oyster at affordable price. It is located on the hill so the view is nice.
