I used to work at IES Abroad (Summer '10, '12, '13, and '17), and our summer program was held within a 25-30 min walk at the Olympic Center. Writing this now, I vividly recall my long walks to Shibuya and heading to straight to this nondescript 2nd Floor yakiniku haven. Some of their most delicious start right at 300 yen, and I've always been satisfied with the quality of meat here. Veggies (especially buttered garlic in foil) are delicious too! While my savings and daily stipend (starting from literally 20 a day in '10) may have changed over the years, my passion for delicious foods at competitive prices has endured without waver. And this place even had creative specials on particular days, which are never a damper on the fun. Pay a visit here, at literally any time of day. But if you really want to do it right, swing by for some bites immediately after nearby HUB's happy hour, after putting away some large G/T's or Moscow Mules. You'll be glad you did.

Best yakiniku! Excellent beef and chicken and a lovely assortment of alcoholic beverages. Must see if you're in Shinjuku.
No doubts. This place is amazing. My favorite place to eat while I was in Tokyo. Nice staff, some of them speak english. But language is not a problem, you order everything with a tablet. 100% recommended.
Good fun to go too and cheap
Probably, one of the cheapest yakiniku place in town. One plate of meat is around 290 yen and above.
