Very nice and relaxed camping experience! To start off, the area was absolutely beautiful. Many things to see up, down, in the river, and the surrounding area. In the campsite itself, you're able to have an open fire and different types of wood and coal can be bought from the office/shop on site. Other things on site are toilets, sinks, and showers. The shower water is nice and hot but it's 300 yen for about 5mins(?) of use. They also sell some snacks and beverages. If needed, there's a 7Eleven about two miles from the site for any last minute food/supplies/more alcohol. The scenery on the walk(32min.) there is very nice as well. For the fishermen an woman, yes fishing is allowed. It was pretty tough when I was out but I managed to get a nice rainbow before I left. I was told the best spot to fish was up the river (if looking at the river, I'm talking about going up and through the left side, opposite of bridge side). You'll see a giant boulder with a pool and some more falls behind it. There is no trail to get there so you're definitely gonna have to cross through the water a number of times. Lastly, thank you to Mr. Noro and everyone else for making sure we were doing alright. Very kind owner and staff, offered to notify them if there is any problem and took care of us when help was needed :)

A great little spot on the river. The owner is extremely friendly, speaks good English and is very accommodating. They even brought around hot soup and sake when the sun went down.

A very nice place and relaxing. We did a ‘day camp’ but I suggest to camp here overnight. Thanks Noro-san for having us at your place, me and my family really enjoyed your place! また今度よろしく〜

Noro Lodge is a majestic place filled with good vibes, great sights, and very kind and down to earth owner who makes you feel right at home. It has a very personal feel, with a small private beach in the upper stream and two different locations to jump into the water safely! It has a toilet and wash place and all the things you’d ever need for a nice camp if you forgot something. You can’t go wrong with this spot, do yourself a favor and stay here! It’s also half the price of the overcrowded, and some what systematic, location located right next to it.

very low value@price. Full of artificial goods, construction vehicles. Lodges are very cheap. But price is high. Not recommended.

Scenery and the river is nice. but the campground itself is cramped and is cluttered with unrelated equipment which takes away from the ambience. It makes the campground look like a construction site's parking lot. Not enough toilets, most of which are 和式. Bungalows look more like apocalyptic survival shelters more than anything with charm. Kind of expensive for what you get.
