I have used this station on various trips over the years, today l have time to hang around and take everything in. The station has many facilities, access to many of the lines throughout Tokyo. It's an amazing large and impressive building, l have no idea if people actually look up as people are often running for trains. It also houses an information point, staff are extremley helpful. Also there is a large store above it with many shops and cafe, worth a wonder around. There are toilet and disabled facilities. Upstairs you can find easy to use lockers. I have found staff at thus station very helpful. It's nice that it is a place you can take your time in. Walking distance to shrines and river, where you can get a river boat. There are ATM of you need cash.

I just loved the designed and architecture of Asakusa Station. I thought I was in Kyoto
There are many lines connecting through Asakusa station like Asakusa line, Ginza line and so on but unfortunately in Asakusa line the Tokyo metro 24 hour pass is not accepted.
Ok Train station, you can use local lines or if you want you can take direct ride to airport. So many stairs though, so be prepared if you have luggage with you. Staff are helpful at the ticket machines if you need help. But staff at the rails are not helpful at all. I think language is big barrier.
