Really beautiful onsen with an amazing view! There was a restaurant that had a good food and drink selection. Also, a fire pit you could sit by. Lockers for your clothes and shampoo and soap to shower before and after your soak. We tried to get massages but they were pretty booked up. If you want a massage make sure to reserve it ahead of time!

We visited this place in early November 2019 and are in love with the onsen. The autumn view was amazing and calm. Will definitely visit again in future.

Lovely surrounds, easy to get to. Nice day onsen that we used at 5000yen per hr charge for a private room. Waters are around 42 degrees Celcius, not too hot. The view is looking out to the woods. Felt very peaceful. Wished we had time to stay longer!

I have not tried the communal baths so I can't comment on those, but I've booked a private bath twice now and I can't recommend it enough! One hour is not enough, I recommend at least 1h30m so you can enjoy the room a bit more. The amenities are high quality and you won't miss anything. The bath water is extremely hot (as it is customary in Japan) but you'll come out completely relaxed. The experience of bathing outside is truly outstanding. They left a few snacks for us to try in the room. The staff is very kind. The only negative is that the restaurant is not worth it, expensive and the food is not that good.
