I came on December and it was cold but great as there were not many people around. Like 10 around me. Perfect for taking pictures and wander around. The place is great, amazing and it is so peaceful.

Amazing scene of hundred-shaku Kwannon.
Hiking, (for me) unbelievable scene, rare. I went there using a ropeway, but still, need to hike to get around the spots. This spot was terrific. I wonder how they create it on the vertical cliff.
Looks like a scene from Laputa! Really recommend, also a nice view of the cliff face from below!
昭和41年に6年の歳月を費やして完成した巨大な磨崖仏で、高さ100尺（約30m）というのが、その名の由来です。百尺観音は、太平洋戦争の戦没者や交通戦争の犠牲者の供養のために彫られたもの。房州石（ぼうしゅういし）の石切場跡に彫られた神秘的な磨崖仏です。 昭和35年から6年の歳月をかけて彫られた観音菩薩像は、航海、航空、陸上交通の安全を守るご本尊として崇めらています。
一見の価値あり。是非鋸山まで行ったら見た方がいいですね。日本にもこんなところあったんですね。值得一看。你一定要去锯山看看。日本也有这样的地方啊。Worth seeing.If you go to Sawayama, you should definitely see it.There are places like this in Japan, too.
